Education

Education is important to every community. Fortunately, in Second Life, we probably have more educational institutions and entities represented than can be found in any other local community. It's an amazing concept. And these educational groups represent all levels, subject matter, and ages, with the exception of the very young.

A great vision and plan guides a community in nurturing and supporting education. This then leads to a strengthening and increase in the quality of life for members of the community. Infrastructure & Services

Our community in Second Life is a little different from an offline community because we do not rely on it for life sustaining services like water or electricity. But there are services here that we rely on toaccess and enjoy our community. These are primarily provided for us by Linden Lab, the creators and maintainers of the platform and software.

Because the infrastructure and services provided by Linden Lab helps determine what we can do here and can affect our quality of life here, it's important to analyze our needs related to their services. By doing so, we can develop constructive feedback that helps them deliver great services and build valuable infrastructure.

If we don't consider recreation in a plan, we might someday find there aren't as many great places to hang out by ourselves or with friends. A good community plan and vision will help to ensure we always have places in Second Life that add recreational value and increase our quality of life.
